You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- It must be in its original, unused condition.
- It must be in the original packaging with all tags and accessories included.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of DIY products, the following items are exempt from being returned:
- Digital Products: Downloadable files such as patterns, e-books, or video courses.
- Sale / Clearance Items: Any products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable."
- Cut or Altered Materials: Fabric, ribbon, or rope cut to a custom length; wood or other materials that have been customized.
- Custom-Ordered Products: Items that have been personalized or made specifically to your order.
- Opened Liquids: Paints, glues, dyes, or any chemicals where the seal has been broken.
- Gift Cards.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To ensure a smooth return process, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Us Email our customer support team at support@bhgdiy.com with the subject line "Return Request - Order #[Your Order Number]".
In the email, please provide:
- Your order number.
- The name of the item(s) you wish to return.
- The reason for the return.
Step 2: Receive Instructions Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with detailed instructions and the return shipping address.
Step 3: Pack and Ship Please pack the item carefully to prevent damage during transit. You are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the item is faulty or incorrect). We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email notification.
- If your return is approved, your refund will be processed.
- A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
- Please note, original shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We carefully inspect all items before shipping. However, if you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at support@bhgdiy.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
Please include clear photos of the issue. We will cover all shipping costs for a replacement or issue a 100% refund for your order.
